Visit hinesburghandyman.com and complete the online estimate request form, which takes just a few minutes. All online estimate requests receive a response within 24 hours, including weekends. Estimates are free for most projects. For complex projects requiring an in-person assessment, a $25 site visit fee applies, which is fully credited back toward your project cost once work begins.

Hinesburg Handyman charges $70 per hour for residential handyman services in the Chittenden County area. These rates apply to labour only. All projects also require a $125 minimum service call fee, which does not include the cost of materials. For large or complex projects, we may request an Onsite Estimate. For bigger projects, we'll often give you one flat price instead of hourly billing — so there's no surprise at the end.

Yes. HH offers a complimentary home evaluation for qualifying homeowners in the Champlain Valley area. During a home evaluation, one of our experienced team members visits your home to assess its current condition, identify maintenance needs, and recommend repairs or improvements. This is particularly useful for homeowners who have recently purchased a property, are preparing a home for sale, or simply want a professional assessment of what needs attention. 

On the day of your appointment with HH, you will receive a reminder in advance of your scheduled visit. Your assigned technician will arrive on time, introduce themselves, and review the scope of work with you before beginning. Our team brings all necessary tools and, in most cases, all required materials. We work cleanly and respectfully in your home, and will walk you through the completed work before leaving. Payment is generally handled through our professional online invoicing and billing system, making it easy to pay by credit card and receive a receipt automatically. 

Depending on the urgency and scope of the project it can be done same day or few weeks out. If  you have a flooded basement we can be there same day however larger projects like decks are scheduled at least a week out.
